eBay is now rewarding those retailers by offering their new opt-in “guaranteed delivery” program, letting sellers who offer exceptional delivery service enjoy additional exposure and visibility on the eBay platform.

The Guaranteed Shipping program essentially allows retailers to commit to a delivery window of 2,3, or 4 days within certain designated areas (usually metropolitan), in order to receive better visibility and filter results.

Customers will now be able to search specifically for products that come with this guarantee, with eBay research showing that customers are 45% more likely to purchase if they have confidence that the item will arrive within 3 days.
