A click-and-collect sale is still an online sale. It delivers the same efficiencies and reduced costs. The only difference is that the customer wants to collect their products from a physical store.
Sometimes shoppers prefer to pick up an item immediately, rather than have it delivered the next day. Some may also want to save on delivery costs. Delight your customers by putting them in control of how, and when, they shop with you.
Local ads are typically shown to users who have searched for a product and requested a nearby pick up. Turn these shoppers into new customers by helping them to collect their items in a physical store.
Most customers who use buy-online-pay-in-store (BOPIS) do it to save on delivery costs. Reducing the number of home deliveries saves retailers money too, as the last mile is often the most expensive.
Exposing new customers to your physical stores is effectively a free upsell opportunity. Click-and-collect customers tend to be new customers who spend more in store than regular visitors.
Customer collections can lead to reductions in cost of sale, fraud and even returns - especially those caused by picking mistakes such as wrong item, size and colour.
